Baby Peter's Newborn Session

"We had an awesome experience at Miles of Smiles for our newborn shoot.

We were nervous about leaving the house for the first time only 10 days postpartum, especially as first-time parents, however Lauren and the team immediately made us feel comfortable and met our questions with grace.

End-to-end communication with Sarah was clear throughout the process and it was overall a very wonderful and professional experience. This shoot became a highlight of our first few weeks with our son! The photos turned out amazing and it was worth the investment!"

"Our entire experience in working with Sarah and Lauren was phenomenal. During our initial outreach, Sarah was incredibly friendly and engaged in understanding our vision for our newborn photoshoot and notified us of her schedule and availability. She made the process very easy to follow to book her studio. Prior to our session, her and her team ensured that we were prepared and provided us with information for a successful shoot. Following our photoshoot, we connected with Sarah again to order our products and she was able to help guide us with her expertise on the products and which images would work best in certain areas of our home.

Lauren led our photoshoot and was an absolute joy to work with. She made the session seamless and captured a ton of great pictures of our baby boy and pup. Her excitement, patience, and professionalism made everyone very comfortable and she worked so much magic to try to get more shots or poses that we were hoping to have."

"We chose Miles of Smiles Photography because of our personal connection with (Associate Photographer) Lauren, and our interest in her work. Lauren has been one of my best friends since 7th grade, and we have supported each other in many of life's journeys. So when it came time to take newborn photos of my daughter, Lauren was our hands down choice. Not only do my husband and I enjoy enjoy her as a person because of her fun, playful personality, but we were highly impressed with her work as a photographer.

The Austin Studio is adorable and we really enjoyed our morning there. We are first time parents, so having professional photos of the three of us was very meaningful. It was great to have so many props and things to choose from. Lauren was a joy to work with during the session. She had great visions that she brought to life. It was an absolute blast to celebrate our family during our newborn photo session. We can't wait to have those memories up on our wall."

"The whole process - from submitting my inquiry to receiving the photos - was streamlined and smooth thanks to Sarah! She provided me with all the necessary preparation information before the session so I knew what to expect, how to prepare and where to go. She also took an in-depth approach in understanding my vision/desire for the photos to help inform and prepare Lauren and Maddie. She was also quick to respond to my follow-up questions.

I LOVED working with Lauren and Maddie! My sessions were well-organized and so fun. We even had a little dance party!

They were so personable, encouraging and sweet which made me instantly feel comfortable and helped me get out of my head to truly enjoy the sessions. They are obviously passionate about their work, and put me at ease by directing me on what to do and how to pose. I appreciated their attention to detail in fixing my hair, my dresses, taking the time to try different poses/angles and even experimenting with fun elements like adding movement and wind to images.

I’m so happy with my photos - they are gorgeous and exceeded my expectations! I'm grateful to them for having such a keen, talented eye in capturing such special moments for my family to enjoy forever.

"We enjoyed another exceptional experience working with Sarah and Lauren!

After scheduling an outdoor session through Sarah, we met up with Lauren in a beautiful park setting. Our family of five had a terrific time during the session; Lauren’s cheerfulness is contagious! She very skillfully kept our children’s attention and moved us smoothly through our various shots — no small feat with a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and an 8 month old who refused to nap on the drive over!

Lauren captured beautiful, lighthearted photos of our family that we will cherish for many years to come.

After our session with Lauren, Sarah seamlessly resumed her role by curating lovely fine art options for the photos from our shoot. Ordering through Sarah was easy as always — the only difficult part is figuring out space for all of the gorgeous photos! The detailed communications from Sarah and her team regarding how the session will run, suggestions for outfits, things to bring, etc. are incredibly helpful for busy families to get the most out of their session.
